Old strings off, fresh strings on, tuned and stretched in so they stay in tune. Your choice of gauge — I'll supply a set or fit strings you provide.
For a guitar whose strings you're happy to keep. Body cleaned and polished, frets and hardware buffed, and the strings themselves cleaned with Fast Fret so they feel smoother and sound brighter. Conditioning the fretboard in full means taking the strings off — that's the full treatment.
Strings come off, so the fretboard gets cleaned and conditioned in full and the frets polished, body and hardware detailed — then a fresh set goes on. The proper deep clean, and how most guitars come back to life.
